Blog

I write to make sense of the world around me. In addition to writing on this website, I also write at https://dataalltheway.com and https://outdoorsyindians.com on topics related to data science and outdoor activities respectively. I also have a close replica of this website and the blog posts on my Gemini capsule at gemini://rohitfarmer.com. Besides writing long-form articles listed on this page, I also maintain an online junk journal on my Pubnix/Tildeverse website, where I post whatever comes to my mind without worrying too much about the format or the intended audience.

Note: I also maintained a blog on Medium.com for non-technical articles, which still exists, although I do not intend to write on it anymore.

On this blog, I try to categorize my posts into one of the seven categories mentioned in the table below

# Category Description
1 Philosophy Personal beliefs, values, and reflections
2 Society Culture, identity, and social commentary
3 Science & Technology Science, tools, software, digital life
4 Books & Movies Book and movie reviews, reading reflections
5 Faith Religion, spirituality, and meaning
6 Lifestyle Hobbies, personal routines, and experiences
7 Personal Light, self-referential, or experimental posts
